- GPS location data of registered smart watch devices (real-time and historical)

- Alert and alarm events (SOS, fall detection, geofence triggers)
- Step count and heart rate readings reported by the device
- Device identifiers (IMEI, serial number)
App Usage Information
- Login timestamps and session information
- Features accessed within the application
02 How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used solely to provide and improve the SafeLink service:
- Device tracking and management: Displaying real-time and historical GPS locations of devices assigned to your account
- Alert notifications: Sending SMS and in-app notifications when a device triggers an alarm (SOS, fall detection, geofence exit)
- Health monitoring: Presenting heart rate and activity summaries for monitored individuals
- Account authentication: Verifying your identity and maintaining secure access to the platform
- Service improvement: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to enhance application performance and reliability
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the SafeLink service.
03 Data Storage and Security
All data collected through SafeLink is stored on secured servers operated by or on behalf of Avantek Technology Inc. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmission
- RSA encryption for authentication credentials
- JWT-based session management with short-lived access tokens
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
Device location history and alert logs are retained for operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at the address below.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
04 Third-Party Services
SafeLink integrates with the following third-party service to provide core functionality:
- HERE Maps (here.com) — Used to display device GPS locations on interactive maps within the application. Location coordinates are transmitted to HERE's servers to render map tiles and geocoding results. Please refer to HERE's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle this data.
- AWS Simple Notification Service (SNS) — Used to deliver SMS alert notifications to registered emergency contacts. Phone numbers provided for alert purposes are processed through AWS SNS infrastructure.
We do not share personally identifiable information with these services beyond what is technically required to render the features described above.
